ReplyDeleteAre you sure you heard the word 'banuktok' from old men there? I just asked it because we call it "manuktok" in Mabini. That's a nice photo.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way, Andrea. Verified thrice, since it makes more sense (to me, at least) to say "manúktok." Anyway, neither appears in bird guides, but I still prefer to include how they call it in my area.
